Dirty Dingo Motorsports 4X4 LS Conversion Cross Member Complete Kit Powder Coated DD-LS-CM1-CK-PC Modular cross member for installing 1997-2015 Gen III/IV LS series engines into 1967-1972 Chevy and GMC 4X4 Trucks, K5 Blazers, and Suburbans. This is a true and simple "bolt in" design. Precision laser cut from 1/4 inch plate steel. Designed with hidden slotted adjustable plates to accommodate out of square or bent frame rails. Utilizes updated captured clam shell style motor mounts while retaining factory engine position. Center section easily unbolts and drops out for oil pan removal. Includes outer frame plates for added strength. The motor mounts are precision CNC laser cut from .250 thick 1050 high carbon cold rolled steel. These LS conversion mounts are adjustable, allowing you to move the engine from the original bell housing position up to 2 ½ inches forward, and up to 1/2 inch rearward. When torqued in place they do not allow the engine to move, even under high horsepower applications. They are precision CNC press brake folded with large radius die to reduce stress on the bends. These conversion mounts are designed to be used with the factory rubber clam shell style mounts on your original frame, a new set is included in this kit. These mounts allow the installation of TH350, TH400, TH700R4, 4L60E, 4L65E, 4L80, 6L80, 6L90 and any other combination of standard or automatic transmissions. Grade-8 zinc coated hardware including new cross bolt is included with the motor mounts. This kit includes billet aluminum spacers, grade 8 zinc coated hardware, double thick washers, full crossmember bolt-in kit, factory rubber frame mounts, and motor mounts. Kit is black texture powder coated for a nice clean finish. *Designed to be used with a G M hot rod or H 3 hummer truck oil pan. *Vortec truck pan will fit with the engine in the stock position. *Sliding the engine forward will require using 1998-2002 Camaro oil pan. *Does not require installing a lift kit.
